Delete branch "v1-atomic-import-20260923"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Implements the atomic importer foundation for #38 and pkg5 compatibility in #42. One multi-publisher p5p is validated and published by a single generation-pointer rename, with durable receipts, exact retry as no-op, conflicting FMRI rejection, stable catalog paths, read availability and recovery. Genuine pkg.obsolete manifests remain in pkg5 catalogs; the overloaded obsolete-package HTTP/CLI behavior is removed.
Validation: 30 atomic importer tests pass; 163 non-e2e focused tests passed across libips/pkg6repo/pkg6depotd; a real pkg5-produced p5p was imported, listed, and retried without change. CI and live pkg5-client round trips remain pending. The current importer is a foundation for the separate retirement/snapshot work; this PR remains WIP until integrated candidate verification.
Superseded by #54, which brings the whole RC13 line (
feat/historical-import, a strict superset ofv1-integration-20260923) tomainin one pull request, as decided in ADR-015 item 6. Nothing from this branch is lost; closing to keep one integration path.Pull request closed
