Delete branch "v1-repo-cli-20260923"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
pkg6repopreviously accepted URI/TLS and filter options it ignored, let several no-op or destructive commands report success, and exposed a purge of historical obsoleted entries. This change rejects unsupported usage before mutation, removes the purge/archive overloads, preserves genuine pkg5pkg.obsoletecatalog behavior, and documents the surviving local commands in an illumos-stylepkg6repo(1)page.pkg6recvnow preflights requested packages, fails on empty or ambiguous selections, and says clearly when recursive receive can leave partial data. The legacy export uses atomic no-clobber output.Validation:
pkg6repo28/28,pkg6recv9/9 and focused libips export tests passed, fmt clean. Independent Opus review found no code blocker; it identified package manpage staging and release test-inventory updates, which will land on the integration branch before the RC tag. This draft targets the v1 integration line.Superseded by #54, which brings the whole RC13 line (
feat/historical-import, a strict superset ofv1-integration-20260923) tomainin one pull request, as decided in ADR-015 item 6. Nothing from this branch is lost; closing to keep one integration path.Pull request closed
