Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
The release acceptance path previously proved the service answered
/versions/0/but never exercised a pkg5 client. On the throwaway illumos release VM, this test imports the release.p5pand a dependency-free dummy into a scratch repository, proves re-import is a no-op, switches the running depot to it, and uses native OpenIndianapkg(1)andpkgrecvto read catalogs, fetch manifests/payloads, and install/verify/uninstall the dummy in a scratch image. It then switches back before the existing upgrade/uninstall package checks. Negative control and fresh caches prevent accidental success from the old repository.Validation: local shell syntax and 272 offline release-script assertions passed; independent Opus review checked option syntax and p5p layout against local OpenIndiana pkg5 source and read-only host help, finding no blocker. Native execution has not happened yet; the tagged release CI run is the proof gate. All scratch writes are under
/var/tmp/pkg6-pkg5-smoke.*on the discarded VM.Superseded by #54, which brings the whole RC13 line (
feat/historical-import, a strict superset ofv1-integration-20260923) tomainin one pull request, as decided in ADR-015 item 6. Nothing from this branch is lost; closing to keep one integration path.Pull request closed
